Description
St George's Church, now West Register House in Charlotte Square, Edinburgh stands above the houses in this view. The Church building has a large domed roof flanked by two smaller domes on towers. The entrance has four ionic columns. In front of the Church is an area with trees which people walk around.

Charlotte Square is situated close to the West End of Princes Street in Edinburgh. It was named on James Craig's original New Town plan as St. George's Square, but changed in 1786 to Charlotte Square after Queen Charlotte, wife of George III.
