Dear Auld Reekie is a slim volume travel guide printed in 1925. The photographs in the booklet were taken by Aberdeen-born photographer, Francis Caird Inglis.

This exhibition showcases 'A Series of Original Portraits and Caricature Etchings' by John Kay, many accompanied by biographical text. Browse to appreciate his distinctive style, satirical humour and the glimpse they offer of society at the time.

Explore Edinburgh's former hospitals through historical postcards. Many of the postcards have been written and sent, some even during the person's stay in hospital and you can read the transcribed message.

This exhibition of beautiful early photographs of Scottish towns, buildings and landscapes are the work of Thomas Keith, a surgeon and amateur photographer.

Photographs by the commercial photographer, S. G. Jackman, some sadly affected by Vinegar Syndrome but still provide an interesting record of the developments in Edinburgh during the 1950s and 1960s.
