Talla Reservoir is the main reservoir utilised in the supply of water to Edinburgh. It was completed in 1904 and is supplemented from water from the Talla Water which flows nearby. It is a mile from the town of Tweedsmuir in the Scottish Borders. 30 Navvies died in the construction of the reservoir and were laid to rest in the Tweedsmuir graveyard.
