Title
Welsh Prisoners
Description
"Few things were more pathetic than the plight of the hapless Allied prisoners, doomed to wait in a hostile country, cut off from all news, penned in cages, scantily clothed, miserably underfed. Many broke under the continuous strain, the grave and the asylum taking many of those 33,000 missing who have been accounted for, and whose end is still unrealised by hearts refusing to give up hope in the possibility of miracles."
