Description
"This cartoon belongs, perhaps, to an earlier phase of the war than that of 1916, although that year saw the unfortunate fall of Kut after several months of most heroic resistance. But it illustrates so forcibly the self-satisfied assurance of the Hun as to the future, that its inclusion here is certainly warranted. ... Germany's connivance in the Armenian atrocities is evidenced in the strings of unfortunate' skulls that hang from the saddlebags of the camel."
