Description
On the left, two ladies pose beside a harp. First figure - round white cap of spotted-silver muslin, formed in small plaits, terminating at one point on the crown; white ostrich feather; pearl necklace; plaited lace tucker. Muslin dress trimmed with lace; full robins. White gloves and shoes.
Second figure - Ostrich feather tipped with orange; the end fastened down under a braid of hair which passes round the head. Gold pin; gold ear-rings, and gold band round the neck. Pink muslin dress, trimmed with large gold twist or gimp. White Cyprus petticoat. Light blue shoes.

On the right: first figure - helmet bonnet of straw or chip, white or lilac muslin crown, tied under the chin with a yellow handkerchief; orange bow. Cambric muslin dress, drawn close round the neck; buttoned half way, then forming a train, trimmed with orange-coloured border. Epaulets on the shoulders, and small puckered cuffs trimmed with lace. Orange-coloured gloves and shoes.
Second figure - Round straw or chip bonnet, with white silk net; full frill round the neck. Scotch cambric open dress, trimmed with fancy border. Slate-coloured gloves and shoes.
