Description
"Yank: 'Hullo, Boys! Leave some for me!'"
"I saw General Petain on 25th July and asked him this question, 'Now what do you think of the Americans?' He replied with his caustic smile: 'In the month of January I told you of certain fears. All is well now. I think that within another week we are going to create the autonomous American Army. They want it very much. They have proved that they are capable of fighting, and that they can beat the Germans. Now I am reassured.' - General Malletesse, Military Critic of the Paris 'Temps'."
