Title
Serbia. Autumn 1915
Description
"Now we can make an end of him".
"Greece's desertion of her ally, Servia, on 6 October 1915, a course which had no doubt been secretly concerted between King Constantine and Germany, and the failure of the Allies to intervene in time, left Servia at the mercy of her foes. She had to defend her exposed northern, north western, and eastern frontiers against the armies of Austria, Germany, and Bulgaria, and this cartoon dated 12 October 1915, accurately gauged her predicament and foretold her fate".
