Corvette Stingray battery-operated model car
Description
Battery-operated 'Corvette Stingray' by Marx in original box. The car is made from plastic and has a moulded red body, interior seats and a steering wheel on left side of the car. The car comes with fenders, handles and four rubber tyres with plastic hub caps. Attached to the car is a rubber cable, linking the back of the car to the blue plastic battery powered control. The car has forward, reverse, horn and light switches.
The car comes with the original two piece box. The bottom of the box is made from plain cardboard. The lid is yellow and red with an illustration of a blue car with headlights shining. The text on the box reads 'Battery operated remote control forward & reverse corvette stingray with headlights and horn, by Marx'. The sides of box have an illustration of battery-operated controls. The left hand corner of the logo is in the centre of an illustration of an elf with cap and blue shoes.
