Title
Vegetable and fish market, from the 'Rainbow' Gallery, Edinburgh
Description
Traders are gathered to sell vegetables and fish below the arches of North Bridge. The market is a large open space where many people are gathered, some stand next to baskets of produce, and horses and carts are parked in the space. At the side are some enclosed stalls. The bridge crosses over into the Old Town of Edinburgh which is full of tall tenement buildings with smoke coming out of the chimneys. Arthur's Seat is in the background. Many people and horses are crossing over the bridge.
