Riddle's Court is situated on the south side of the Lawnmarket. It takes its name from Riddals Land dating from 1587 and was built by George Riddell, Wright and Burgess. The remains of the house of Bailie McMorran, built in the 16th century, are located here.
There are over forty painted panels on the ceiling in this room that are related to the history of the Court and the connections of the people who lived there.
