Description
The ruins of are castle sit upon a small mound, overgrown with plants and trees. A person walks around the edge of the castle while smoke plumes rise from behind it. In the distance a small village of houses and cottage can be seen.

Rothsay castle dates back to the 13th century and is unique for its circular structure. It consists of a large curtain wall, four round towers and a broad moat. It was built by the Stewart family but fell into dispair after the 17th century.
