The stone staircase leading up to St Bernard's Bridge in Edinburgh has an arched walkway leading through it. A stone carving showing the coat of arms of the city is on the side of the stairway. The bridge above has metal railings and a street lamp.

St Bernard's Bridge in Stockbridge, Edinburgh, crosses the water of Leith joining India Place to Dean Terrace. The bridge was designed by James Milne and was built in 1824. The flight of steps leading down to the riverside was a later addition.
