Description
A narrow stone staircase leads up to a small doorway. To the left of the staircase stands an entrance to Lady Stair's Close and the Writer's Museum beyond that. A shop stands to the right of the staircase, while a small balustrade appears above the shop. To the left of the doorway, stands a plaque dedicated to Robert Burns.
