The Queen's Gallery, Edinburgh, is situated on Horse Wynd at the foot of the Canongate. It was opened by the Queen in 2002, and houses changing exhibitions from the Royal collection. The gallery occupies the buildings of the former Holyrood Free Church and the Duchess of Gordon's School, both built in the mid 19th century.
