Cramond Parish Church, or Cramond Kirk, is located on Cramond Glebe Road, on the east bank of the River Almond just before it meets the Firth of Forth. The oldest parts of the kirk date from the 15th century, but the main body of the building is of the 17th century. The church also shows several later additions and alterations.
Originally a separate village, Cramond is now a suburb in the north west of Edinburgh. Set alongside the beautiful Almond Valley it retains a picturesque, village-like feel. Cramond Harbour at the mouth of the Almond is a popular location for recreational sailing.
