The ruin of an L-shaped castle has been sketched. A tower juts out from the main building. To the right of the tower is a high wall. The castle appears to have been built around a rocky formation.

Torwood is thought to have been built around 1566. It was the home of the Forester family, who held a hereditary role as royal foresters, and looked after the Royal Forest of Torwood.
