Title page for 'A Day in a Child's Life', an illustrated children's song book
Description
In the upper half of the page, three children wearing hats - and smocked, frilled and caped dresses and coats, hold hands. Surrounding them is a circle of daisies and buttercups, wound together in a figure of eight. A second line of children, drawn from behind and also in early 19th century dress, complete the lower circle, in the middle of which is the title text. It reads,
'A Day in a Child's Life

At the very bottom of the page are the publisher's details: 'Frederick Warne & Co., Ltd. London & New York'.
