Description
The picture sits within a large circular horn, foliage decorating each of the corners, and the rhyme at the bottom written on an unfurled scroll. Two men in armour, swords in their hands, seize hold of another - this time unarmoured - man, and the horn that encircles his whole upper body. Behind them are horses, men, a chariot wheel, armour and raised spears. The rhyme reads,
"The Trumpeter taken Prisoner

A trumpeter, prisoner made,
Hoped his life would be spared when he said
He'd no part in the fight,
But they answered him - "Right,
But what of the music you made?"

Songs may serve a cause as well as swords."
