Description
The female Convolvulus embraces the male Honeysuckle as he stands up, faces away and stretches his arms above his head, mirroring the circular outline of the honeysuckle behind him that has attracted a bee. Both are dressed in floral garments and the women's legs are further wrapped in leaves, resembling a mermaid's tail. The accompanying text reads:
"The fond Convolvulus still clings,
The Honeysuckle spreads his wings".
