'Some tulips in bud in the flower bed ...
Sparrows have picked off all the "flowertop" from S's large grass plant ... taking it for nesting material ...
A wren! This happens every year about this time ... small and brown, not the brown of other brown birds! It hopped around in the ivy and loquat and wall and I thought perhaps it was sussing out the robin box ... but that is just wishful thinking!'
