Soldiers, police and the crowd waiting for the Coronation Parade, Bank Street, 13 May 1903
A large crowd of people have gathered to watch Edward VII and Alexandra of Denmark's coronation parade on 13 May 1903. Soldiers and policemen line the street as people wait along Bank Street at the junction with Chambers Street (leading to George IV Bridge). Edinburgh Dental Hospital and school in Brown Square, Chambers Street is now demolished.
