Leith Pier and Harbour
A rowing boat, sail boat and paddle steamer move to and from Leith Harbour. Masts of many ships can be seem above the harbour wall. People make their way along the Pier towards a Newhaven fishwife. A rod and basket for fish have been abandoned on the side of the Pier. In the distance the hills of Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags and the monuments of Calton Hill can be seen over the roof tops of Leith.
