Blue silk twill weave banner with wool fringe and a different painted design on each side.
Obverse: title scrolls, OPERATIVE BAKERS & CONFECTIONERS OF SCOTLAND NATIONAL FEDERAL UNION EDINBURGH BRANCH, INSTITUTED 1888 at lower edge.Roundel showing two bakers taking a tray of loaves out of an oven. The side roundels each show a crossed whisk and pastry brush, motto scroll, THE CAUSE OF LABOUR IS THE HOPE OF
THE WORLD. And on each end of lower scroll, UNITY.
