The title page from Flowers from Shakespeare's Garden: A Posy from the Plays depicts the Countess of Warwick kneeling and collecting flowers in front of a bust of Shakespeare. The Countess was as ardent socialist and patron of Crane. The book can be understood from a socialist perspective as it allowed children to have an understanding of Shakespeare, and since the book was not terribly expensive, it would have been available to a wide audience. The Countess is depicted wearing an Aesthetic style dress. It is again in the lighter colour pallette of Flora's Feast though it is not as simple.
