Balaclava and scarf
Description
The balaclava and scarf worn by Captain Gladstone-Millar on active service in the French trenches. Made of pure wool in camouflage khaki colour. This would have been worn with the tin helmet on top and the scarf wound round for warmth. It was knitted as a single garment and not 2 pieces.
