Title
The World Conqueror's Latest Attitude
Description
"God has called us to civilise the world : we are the missionaries of human progress. - The Kaiser, in a speech at Bremen."

"In accord with our Allies I have resolved once more to offer peace to the enemy. - The Kaiser, in a Proclamation to the German Army and Navy, 6 October 1918."

"Making a peace proposal is an act necessary to deliver the world from obsession. For such an act a ruler is wanted with a conscience, who feels responsible towards God, and who has a heart for his own and hostile peoples. A ruler is wanted who is inspired by a desire to deliver the world from sufferings without minding possible wrong interpretation of his act. I have the courage to do it, I will venture it, relying upon God. - The Kaiser, to his Chancellor."
