Title
Charade at Abercairny. Kate Edwardes, Walter Whitmore, Dick Bedford
Description
Three wealthy Victorians wearing costumes sit on steps at Abercairny House, Perthshire. A man with a beard and glasses is dressed up in women's clothes with a bonnet, apron and shawl on. He is holding a twig broom. The other two people appear to be dressed as children and are eating apples. The man has a cloth tied round his head, indicating perhaps that he has toothache. The woman has a tall white bonnet on and a white cape. The door at the top of the stairs has letters chalked on it.
