Holyrood Chapel
Description
The remains of a large window in Holyrood Abbey in Edinburgh has a headstone below it. Intricate carved stonework is on either side beneath the remains of smaller windows. Partial columns also in a state of disrepair are in the middle of the structure.

Holyrood Abbey stands next to Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh. The Abbey was founded by David I in 1128, several hundred years before Holyrood Palace. The Abbey was badly damaged during the Reformation. It was finally abandoned in 1768 after the roof collapsed.
