Old Town from East Princes Street
Description
The Old Town rise up out of the Waverley Valley. Train tracks filled with wagons cut through the landscape from under the Waverley Bridge. The newly built Cockburn Street can be seen at the head of the bridge winding its way towards the Old Town.

"41. This view of part of the old town shows the old Waverley Bridge & Station. the Bridge was demolished in 1870 and the present iron one erected in its place. The buildings of the old town seen on the right of the view have been very much altered by the formation of St Giles Street &"
