Lady Lawson Street - west side, looking south
Description
Tenement buildings are on one side of Lady Lawson Street in Edinburgh while on the other side is a wall. Shops are underneath some of the tenements and in front is a pavement along which people walk. Between the housing and wall is a cobblestone road with lamp-posts along it.

Lady Lawson Street is situated a short distance south-west of Edinburgh Castle. It runs north-west from Lauriston Place through West Port to Castle Terrace.
The word cobble has been used here to help with searching, an alternative term is sett. Sett stones describe both the type of stone and the method in which they are used.
