Cramond Tower dates from the 15th Century. Originally the palace of the Bishops of Dunkeld, it was acquired by the Douglas family in 1574.

Originally a separate village, Cramond is now a suburb in the north west of Edinburgh. Set alongside the beautiful Almond Valley it retains a picturesque, village-like feel. Cramond Harbour at the mouth of the Almond is a popular location for recreational sailing.
