Description
A deserted West Crosscauseway in Edinburgh. Only a horse and cart are on the cobblestone road of the street. A confectioner's shop is amongst the tenement buildings. A lamp-post stands on the pavement.

Now divided into East and West Crosscauseway the streets branch east and west from Nicolson Street, connecting it to Richmond Place to the east and Chapel Street to the west. The name is an anglicised version of the older 'Crosscausey'.
