Remarks : Left arm broken & skull fractured. Attended to by
Drs. Hunter & Simpson. Died at 5.30pm. from

This book was acquired by Museums & Galleries Edinburgh in 2018. It is, as far as we know, the only surviving working document from the earliest stages of construction of the Forth Bridge.
