Description
One pantomime set model for Aladdin's Palace in Aladdin (Act II Scene III), designed by Terry Parsons. The model has a black cardboard frame with a gold band, with a box of black cardboard attached behind. The three-dimensional model of the stage has three distinct layers: downstage, a pair of latticed bays, painted black, cream, and gold, and a flight of five orange stairs; next a cut cloth depicting the façade of the palace, and finally a backcloth painted with orange-and-gold medallions, visible through the windows in the cut cloth.
