The people of Edinburgh came together to show hope in the face of adversity. Using a quote by Maya Angelou, U.S. civil rights activist and writer, to highlight the beauty of a diverse city and the different heritage of people in Edinburgh. From the 2011 census, Edinburgh’s population was 5.5%, Asian and 1.4% Black.
