Description
One banner for the Women's Scottish Co-Operative Guild, Portobello Branch. The banner is silk satin with one painted side. The fringe is green tassels along the bottom edge. There are cord and tassels along the top and centre of the bottom edge. The title scroll cartouche reads, 'SCOTTISH CO-OPERATIVE WOMEN'S GUILD (at top) PORTOBELLO BRANCH (at bottom). The centre panel features a wheat sheaf surrounded by bluebells with two doves above, and the motto, 'LABOUR AND WAIT; below, CO-OPERATIVE WHEATSHEAF ATTRACTS DOVES OF PEACE'.
