Burns' Objects and Images

As Scotland's most loved poet, Robert Burns is regarded with high esteem and this is reflected in the celebration of his life and work on Burns night.

At the Writer's Museum on Lady Stair's Close in Edinburgh, visitors to the museum can see portraits, rare books and personal objects including Burns' writing desk as featured in this online exhibition.
Robert Burns was born on 25th January 1759 and died on the 21st July 1796 aged 37.
