'I think we are getting a flick of Hurricane Bertha's coat tails this morning ...
The first rowan berries are on the tree in the garden across the street ...
The verbena bought a year ago ... is still blooming and is pleasantly structural so I have decided to keep it ... It has very small heads of even smaller flowers and a few thin leaves ... but the stems are so long and spread in all directions ...'
