Description
Two peacocks drive an ornate chariot seat where a woman sits enthroned above them with an orb and sceptre. They are at rest and one of the peacocks, with its tail fanned wide across the starry sky, looks up at her, beak open. The rhyme sits in a circle where the wheel of the chariot might be; it reads:
"The Peacock's Complaint

The Peacock considered it wrong
That he had not the nightingale's song;
So to Juno he went,
She replied, "Be content
With thy having, and hold thy fool's tongue!"

Do not quarrel with nature."
