Polwarth Church was built in 1901 by the architects Sydney Mitchell and Wilson. The tower was added by James Jerdan & Sons in 1913. The architecture shows pre-Reformation influences and the building has several green men gargoyles. The church still has its 1903 organ in working condition, and the fine original pulpit, sculpted by William Beveridge. A notable modern addition is a labyrinth stained onto the floor of the sanctuary, to be walked for meditation or prayer.
