The bridegroom, Mr Gurdave Singh (19) on his horse, with his best man behind him.
The wedding ceremony was held at the Sikh Temple or Gurdwara for Edinburgh and the Lothians, at Sheriff Brae. The Gurdwara opened in 1976, in the former St. Thomas's Church building, and has a regular congregation of about 400, with more people attending for festivals.
