The song sheet illustration for Round the Town Lancers by the artist H. G. Banks contains eight vignettes of major London theatres, the Gaiety, Alhambra, and London Pavilion amongst others. H. G. Banks favoured these roundels and vignettes in his title illustrations, using them to great effect to maximize the visual information on the page. The page is framed with four roundels on each side, with the title displayed along the top and in the middle appears the figures of various colourful characters taken from the many popular songs, which are named beneath. Warwick William's name is at the bottom, and underneath in smaller type are the details of the publisher and H.G. Banks as the lithographer.
