The Mulubinba was an SS cargo vessel built by Henry Robb, shipbuilders of Leith, for Newcastle & Hunter River SS Co Ltd. She was launched on 27th February 1937 and sailed on 29th April 1937. She was originally used to carry coal and general cargo from Newcastle to Sydney, later served in World War II and was commissioned by the Australian Navy. She was renamed Kuranda in 1959 and sunk in Vietnam in 1969.
