Description
This is a scene at Renfrew Airport, where it looks as though refuelling of this Parnall Imp aircraft is taking place. This plane was only operational for about a year.

The King's Cup Race is an annual British handicapped cross-country air race and is run by the Royal Aero Club Records Racing and Rally Association. It was first contested on 8 September 1922.
In the same race Mr Guy Neville Warwick was killed when he flew into Broad Law near St Mary's Loch in the Newcastle to Glasgow leg. He was flying a ANEC Missel Thrush G-EBPI. Wreckage of this plane was reported found in a stream on the southern slopes of the mountain in June 2004.
