Chalmers Church, West Port
Description
Chalmer's Church sits on the corner of the West Port and Lady Lawson Street, Edinburgh. It has a tall corner square tower and steeple at the bottom of which is a large arched wooden door. To the left of the steeple, the main body of the church has a large arched stained glass window and a smaller arched entranceway. A man in a flat cap is walking by the church. The roof of the Edinburgh College of Art buildings can be seen in the background.

The West Port is a street that continues west from Edinburgh's Grassmarket towards Lothian Road. It was the site of the western entrance to Edinburgh through the city wall.
