The Electric Railway at the Forestry Exhibition in Edinburgh was designed and built by Henry Bock Binko. His design has first been exhibited at Crystal Palace in London in 1882. At the International Forestry Exhibition in Edinburgh the train ran on a ½ mile circular route within the grounds, transporting visitor for 3d (three pence) for the 2 and a half minute journey.
