This image is from a bound collection of mounted prints believed to be the official Usher Hall opening photographs.
The Usher Hall is situated just off Lothian Road in Edinburgh. It was built between 1911 and 1914 with a donation from the brewer Andrew Usher. The concert hall serves as a venue for both classical and contemporary music.
