Torduff and Clubbie Dean reservoirs stand in the same valley in what is now the Pentlands National Park. These reservoirs are not direct service reservoirs and are mainly used to contain overflow from the Pentland Springs and augment the city water supply in dry periods. Torduff lies lower in the valley and is almost entirely maintained by water discharged by Clubbie Dean.
