Garelochhead is a village on the north banks of Gare Loch, one of the sealochs of Argyll and Bute.
Developed in the 1820s alongside the advent of steamer cruises, this resort village in Argyll and Bute is known for its watersports and has great local walks and amenities. From Garelochhead the scenery changes dramatically to the north, as the hills to the north dominate the skyline.
